Marshall Blevins: I didn't realize how necessary a change of scenery was for me. The space itself is beautiful, the community was interested and engaged with me - I felt really at home. And Rachel is a marvel and light all on her own. Supportive, encouraging, dynamic - she would be such a wonderful mentor. She's a person who makes things happen. The number of skilled, sharp, and curious creative women in the Bay is astounding and to get to interact with them was another boost for my year.  

I love Bay Saint Louis and the chance to just recharge and be mystified by the Gulf coast changed the tone of the year for me and was a tremendously important reset for my practice.  The space is so thoughtful on its own - it made me want to be more thoughtful. Can't say enough good things about it.
