Blues Brunch featuring D.K. Harrell

Bay Saint Louis, MS - Second Sunday Summer Blues Brunch at 100 Men Hall features D.K. Harrell on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 11am to 1pm. Tickets are $20 in advance, and go up at the door if not sold out. This show is an Alligator Mike Promotion. Food for purchase by Chef Gene Coia along with a cash/credit bar. 

D.K. Harrell is an emerging Blues artist from Ruston, Louisiana. In 2019, he performed at the B.B. King Symposium and was given the honor of playing one of B.B. King's signature Lucille guitars. He competed in the 2022 International Blues Challenge and finished in 3rd place out of over 200+ international Blues acts.  D.K. has shared the stage with some of the Blues' most recognizable contemporary artists; Gary Clark Jr.  Mr. Sipp, Tedeschi-Trucks band, and Christone "Kingfish" Ingram. He is the Jus Blues awards 2022 B.B. King, King of the Blues award recipient. 

As a Blues artist, D. K. Harrell is dedicated to the preservation of the Traditional Blues created and performed by B.B. King, Little Milton and other great Blues artists. D.K. is an artist who wants to bring his perspective of the Blues to the world with the message that younger genrations have the blues too. 

Food for purchase by Chef Gene Coia. Chef Gene has been cooking since he could see the stovetop. He has earned his stripes in and about the New Orleans culinary scene, winning multiple awards. Catch him cooking for the kids for the 100 Men Hall's A Soulful Christmas every December and hope you catch his magic for the Hall's gumbo cook-off, Rock 'N' Roux.
