Studio Waveland + Gallery is the place to be June 26 when it kicks off its largest exhibition to date — #3DMISSISSIPPI — at an opening night soirée under the stars, nestled amongst sculptures created by renowned artists.

Who are the who’s who – in addition to you?

This is a one-of-a-kind sculpture exhibition located in and outside of Studio Waveland + Gallery, organized by artists Erica Larkin Gaudet, Mitchell Gaudet, and Earl Dismuke, to showcase and celebrate the diversity of sculpture created by this incredible list of artists: Wayne Amedee, Erin Lee Antonak, Jan Auleta, John Barnes, Babette Beaullieu, Raine Bedsole, David Borgerding, H. For our big opening night, June 26th, Studio Waveland + Gallery is excited to be partnering with 100 Men Hall, which is coordinating the music, food and libations. 

Similar to Studio Waveland’s annual summer events, Coleman Avenue will be closed off and reserved tables/chairs will be situated outside of Studio Waveland + Gallery, where guests can enjoy music by Muevelo! and The Evolution Band and sample delicious cuisine from food trucks helmed by Chef Chris Hayes’ The Smoking Oyster and Michele Lee’s South Beach.

The 100 Men Hall will have libations for sale that include canned pinot grigio, pinot noir, rosé, prosecco, Two Chicks bourbon and tequila cocktails, Ultra, Lazy Magnolia’s SunFox and Urban South’s Paradise Park as well as Richard’s Rainwater. There will be no plastics sold at the bar so feel free to bring a go cup that you could use then take home with you. Advanced Drink Tickets

The gallery exhibition is open to the public that evening from 6-10PM, but the best way to celebrate and enjoy the evening is to reserve a table for the night.

Studio Waveland + Gallery: Gallery openings, artist’s lectures, art demonstrations, classes, special exhibitions and metal & glass studios of sculptors Erica Larkin Gaudet & Mitchell Gaudet. The 2000 square foot gallery features gallery openings, group artist exhibits,  ART SHOP and special events.  

The 100 Men Hall is an age-old organization that preserves culture, interprets history and gathers the community in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi. Through live music events, innovative programs, and artistic expression, the 100 Men Hall seeks to make this African American landmark accessible to visitors of all ages. At the 100 Men Hall, we are committed to the preservation of the distinct culture found within the community of this geographical area.

Muevelo! - What started as a one-time performance of a tribute to Celia Cruz has now become New Orleans' newest Latin music sensation, Muevelo! That means "Move It" in Spanish. Lead singer Margie Perez and saxophonist Brent Rose lead a talented ensemble of musicians and vocalists that takes you on a musical journey to Cuba. 

The Evolution Band - New Orleans own Ronald Reggae and The Evolution Band have performed the Gulf Coast and New Orleans spreading soulful reggae vibes wherever they play. 

Ann Dinwiddie Madden - Ann Dinwiddie Madden’s photographs and mixed media work have been shown at The Ohr O’Keefe Museum in Biloxi,MS, The Walter Anderson Museum of Art in Ocean Springs, MS, Studio Waveland in Waveland, MS, The Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, CO to name a few.

The Smoking Oyster Food Truck - Chef Chris is a Food Network star. After obtaining his culinary degree, Chef Chris worked at various restaurants and casinos, before relocating to New Orleans. Earlier this year, Chef Chris was named the winning contestant on Food Network's Cooks vs Cons. His recipes are featured in Louisiana Cooking Magazine and Road Tours Magazine.

South Beach Food Truck – A career banker turned restaurant/food truck owner, Michele has had a passion for food since she was a little girl cooking savory meals in the kitchen with her mom. Michele will be serving up all-natural goodness from her truck for the event.
